From experimental research to poetic visual narratives

I’m an Italian illustrator currently based in Germany. My path into illustration began somewhere quite far from the art world.

After my university studies in Italy and a period of further training in Edinburgh, I moved to Spain, where I completed a PhD in Supramolecular Chemistry. My research focused on organic synthesis and electronic applications .

A world of molecules, structures and invisible connections that taught me to look at complex ideas from different angles.

The intersection of science and metaphor

Today, I live in Germany, where I have built my family. My scientific background still shapes the way I think and observe: I’m naturally drawn to ideas, systems and the stories hidden behind them.

Through my illustrations, I want to bring these two sides together science and visual storytelling. I’m interested in turning complex or intangible subjects into images that feel immediate, curious and human. For me, illustration is a way of making ideas visible, while leaving enough room for the viewer to discover their own meaning.
